Adoptable Animals...

Our pets can be seen in person at our adoption sites, or on Petfinder.com, or through our website.
How To Adopt An Animal From Us:
- If interested in one of our animals, you must download, print out, and fill out a Pre-Adopt Application (.pdf 69.0 KB). The application must be emailed to the foster parent's email address listed under the animal's description on Petfinder.

- Contact the foster parent for the animal you are interested in, or bring it to us at Petsmart on Saturday.
- An Adoption Counselor will go over your application with you and discuss the particular pet you are interested in.
- A vet reference check will be done to make sure all of your current or past pets have had proper and up-to-date vet care. If the vet check is approved, your application will then proceed to next step.
- If the pet you're interested in is a good match for you and your application is approved, the adoption process will proceed and arrangements will be made for you to adopt.

Finding Out More Information On a Particular Pet:
If you want additional information on a particular pet, appointments need to be made directly with the foster parent whose contact number and/or email is listed on that pet's Petfinder listing. Not every pet is at an adoption center every weekend, so calling the foster parent is the best way to find out when you can meet.
Adoption Fees:
Fees* can vary; standard fees are:
- Kittens - $115 for females, $110 for males
- Adult Cats - $75
- Puppies - $250
- Adult Dogs - $200
* All animals are spayed/neutered before they are adopted out to help control the population of unwanted pets, and are current on their vaccinations (if old enough). Adoption fees must be paid in CASH only.
Why do we have adoption fees?:
The fees are used for the care of all the animals and include:
- cost of spaying/neutering
- food
- vet/vaccinations/medical expenses
- crates
- Animal Control charges people, including rescue groups, to release animals from their custody. We pay these fees to save those animals from being euthanized.
Homeward Bound Foster To Adopt Program:
Certain dogs in the rescue have been passed by or not noticed and have been here waiting and deserve a forever loving home. The Homeward Bound Program is designed to help find the perfect matched forever home for your new four legged friend...(Read More - .pdf 53.84 KB)
